Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

DealGro ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: Email address when you create an account. During setup you may also give us your name and the type of buyer you are (for example, an individual operator, a fund, or a family office). We do not collect a password. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, or with a one-time code sent to a phone number you choose to add.

Phone Number: Optional. If you add a US phone number, we store it so we can text you a sign-in code and so you can sign in with that number later.

Buy Box Configuration: Your deal criteria, including target states, price ranges, property types, and other filter preferences.

Payment Information: We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account details, or other billing information. The Service is currently free.

Usage and Analytics Data: Pages you visit and steps you take in the product (such as starting signup, confirming your email, or saving a buy box). These records can include a session identifier, your email address, browser user agent, the page you landed on, the site that referred you, campaign parameters from the link you followed (including UTM tags), ad click identifiers when they are present on that link (such as gclid or fbclid), and a referral code from our emails. On signup attempts and phone-code requests we also record an IP address, to limit abuse.

Other Email You Submit: If you ask to hear about a property type we do not offer yet, we store the email address and property type you submit.

Messages We Send: We send account and deal emails through our email provider. We keep a record that certain messages were sent. This application does not record whether you open an email or which link inside an email you click. If you follow a link to DealGro, that visit is recorded like any other visit, as described above.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Match listings to your buy box and send deal alerts
  • Send transactional emails (welcome, deal alerts, account messages) and, if you add a phone number, a one-time text code
  • Understand how the Service is used and how visitors arrive, so we can improve it
  • Limit abuse and automated signups
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Supabase for data storage and authentication
  • Resend for email delivery
  • Twilio to send one-time text codes when you use a phone number
  • Vercel for application hosting and product analytics
  • Google for Google Analytics
  • Cloudflare for bot checks on signup and some forms (Turnstile)

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. To delete your account, contact us at hello@dealgro.com. After account deletion, we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), row-level security on our database, and sign-in by emailed link or one-time code. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You may:

  • View your name and email in your account dashboard, and update your buy box there
  • Delete your account by contacting us at hello@dealgro.com
  • Stop deal emails with the unsubscribe link in those emails

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We also use first-party cookies and similar browser storage to remember a signup session and how you arrived (including referrer and campaign parameters). Google Analytics may set analytics cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service.
